A. Playboy Paris wants to date stunner Helen. His army heads to Troy. A row erupts
during which an angry bloke named Achilles kills a guy called Hector.
B. Man travels home after a war. He meets a bunch of one-eyed weirdos then has
a seven-year fling with a girl on a holiday isle. He arrives home to find a bunch of
sleazeballs trying it on with his bird and butchers them.
C. Mega-rich toff Oedipus has a bad day. He discovers he has accidentally topped
his dad and romped with his mum. She kills herself and Oedipus flees to live on
a mountain.
D. Pals hold a posh party. Bloke called Socrates gets lost and turns up late. Air turns
blue after chat turns to sex. Everyone gets wasted and then falls asleep.
E. War hers Aeneas dazzles pin-up beauty Dido by boasting of his battle exploits.
He leaves so she tops herself. A massive fight develops against his Italian neighbours.
Aeneas wins.
F. A loser called Lucius watches a passer-by use magic to turn himself into an owl.
Lucius tries to copy him. He screws up the spell and becomes an ass instead. Later
he turns back into a man.
G. Arrogant loudmouths get together to discuss how to run a city. Barmy bloke
called Socrates claims philosophy boffins should be appointed dictators. He rambles
on about the afterlife.
H. Butch queen Clytemnestra slaughters her royal hubby Agamemmnon. A bloodbath
develops after she is in turn killed by her son Orestes.

Vasquez Observatory
First installed with a 100 cm refractor
telescope in 138 AC, the Vasquez
Observatory was later upgraded with a
270 cm refractor telescope in 198. A
third upgrade took place in 221 when the
mirror was again replaced with one
employing adaptive optics.
