#080:Cruel And Unusual
Once upon a time, a particularly cruel dictator with an overactive imagination
devised a punishment for four of his prisoners. He buried the four in a line
up to their heads in the ground, with a wall seperating them. They were all
buried facing the wall so they could only see what was in front of them, so
Dave can see Bella and Charlie, and Charlie can see Bella but not Dave.
The dictator then placed hats on top of the prisoners' heads as in this picture.
The prisoners knew that there were two black hats and two white hats, but
they didn't know the colour of their own hat. If one of prisoners could
correctly say what colour is on their hat, they'd all be freed.
Which prisoner ended up saving the day?

Mobius Strip Part 1
"It might not be a real Mobius Strip, but it'll
do," are the words architect Denise Ghali is
said to have made upon seeing the
completed strip from the air for the first time.
Completed only five year ago in 263, the
figure of eight strip of raised land off the
coast was one of the more controversial
projects begun by the MDC for the Mobius
Area regeneration project, but its sheltered
marine lake and beautiful parks have won
over most critics.
